I picked up my first camera at 18 and never put it down. What started as curiosity became a calling — the belief that a single frame, taken at exactly the right moment, can hold an entire lifetime of feeling.
I shoot with a quiet presence. My goal on every session is simple: make you forget the camera is there. The laughter you didn't plan, the glance you didn't notice, the tear you almost held back — that's what I'm after.
When I'm not behind the lens, I'm chasing my son around our farm and losing arguments with two very opinionated dogs. Life is full and beautiful and I wouldn't have it any other way.
The moment before the ceremony. Before the words. When a glance says everything the vows are still trying to catch up to.
Time stopped. I kept shooting.
It hung there in the quiet of the morning, before the music, before the tears, before the day became a memory.
Still. Beautiful. Waiting.
The whole room held its breath. Then, all at once — applause, tears, laughter, and two people who are somehow already different than they were a second ago.
Married. Just like that.
He held on a little longer than the song required. She let him. There is no photograph that fully captures what a father feels in this moment — but we try anyway.
He won't let go until he has to.
When the formalities fall away and the real celebration begins. Shoes come off. Ties loosen. Everyone you love is in one room, and nothing else matters tonight.
This is the part they'll talk about for years.
After the vows. After the reception. The quiet at the end of the loudest day of your lives — when it's just you, walking into whatever comes next.
